Has God Said?

Created Complete, Yet Called to Be Proven

When God formed Adam and Eve, nothing was missing. They were not evolving into completeness; they were created in fullness. Their environment, their bodies, their minds, and their purpose were all perfectly aligned with divine intention.

There was no lack. No deficiency. No hidden flaw.

They lived in harmony with:

  • Nature

  • Their own bodies

  • Each other

  • And most importantly, with God

Their desires were pure because their connection was pure.

The First Demonstration: A Mind in Harmony with God

When God brought the animals to Adam (Genesis 2:19–20), it was more than a simple exercise—it was a revelation of alignment.

Adam named every living creature, and Scripture says:

“Whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.”

This moment reveals something extraordinary:

Adam’s mind was not operating independently; it was in perfect harmony with the mind of God.

You can describe it beautifully as being connected to the “library of heaven.” In essence:

  • Adam did not guess

  • Adam did not experiment

  • Adam perceived the truth clearly

There was no confusion, no error, no distortion.

This tells us:
Humanity was designed to function best when connected to divine wisdom

And Adam passed this test flawlessly. There was no defect found in him—mentally, physically, or spiritually.

The Final Test: Obedience

Yet, despite this perfection, one thing remained:

Choice had to be proven.

Love, loyalty, and righteousness cannot exist without freedom. And freedom requires the possibility of disobedience.

So God established one simple boundary:

“Of the tree… thou shalt not eat…” (Genesis 2:17)

Notice:

  • It was not a complicated law

  • It was not burdensome

  • It was not restrictive in proportion to what was given

Out of an entire garden of abundance, only one thing was withheld. Why? Because obedience is not about restriction—it is about relationship.

Why This Test Mattered

Adam had already demonstrated:

  • Intellectual perfection

  • Spiritual connection

  • Physical completeness

But obedience tests something deeper:

Will you trust God when you don’t fully understand?
Will you remain aligned when an alternative is presented?

Obedience is the seal of connection.

It proves that alignment with God is not automatic; it is chosen.

The Link to Health and Prevention

This is where your health message becomes powerful.

The same principle still applies today:

God has already provided what we need:

  • The right foods (Genesis 1:29)

  • The right lifestyle principles

  • The body’s natural healing systems

But like Adam, we face a daily test:

Will we obey what we know is right?

Health is not just about knowledge—it is about obedience to that knowledge.

You can know:

  • What to eat

  • When to rest

  • How to live

But without obedience, knowledge has no power.

The Reality

The fall did not happen because Adam lacked intelligence.
It did not happen because he lacked provisions.

It happened because obedience was broken.

And the same is true today:

Many health struggles are not from lack of information—but from lack of consistent application.

So Let's Examine Ourselves

Examine your life through this lens:

  • Are you connected mentally to truth?

  • Are you aligned physically with what your body needs?

  • Are you choosing obedience in the small, daily decisions?

Start simple:

  • Obey what you already know about health

  • Practice discipline in eating and living

  • Trust that God’s design still works

Because in the end:

Perfection was given…
Connection was established…
But destiny was determined by obedience.

The Deeper Truth

Obedience is not control—it is protection.

God’s commands are not designed to limit life, but to preserve it.

Just like:

  • Ignoring natural laws leads to disease

  • Ignoring spiritual laws leads to separation

Both are forms of disconnection from the Source of life.
